Fathers Day 2
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
We made this for my father in law. The text is actually from some patterned paper that I found, which we just cut out and backed in green.
Megan Album 8

By printing in brown instead of black, the message flowed with the theme of the album. Print text in the darkest color of your color theme.
Oaks Card 1
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
This is the card we made for our friends who were married a while ago. We used the same font, paper, and embellishments that we used in the frame, which, gave the whole gift a theme.
Aunt Lisa Card 2
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
This was part of the Paris themed gift I gave my aunt for her birthday.
Amanda Gift 1
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
Our cousin graduated from Michigan State a while ago. We really wanted to have a continuous visual theme with her gift and card.
Grandma Bev Birthday
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
We made this for our grandmother's birthday. The "happy" and "birthday" are two different stamps with white ink. It took several tries to get them to line up the right way. But it was worth it. The patterned paper is actually a scrap from a gift frame I did for another family.

Aunt Lisa Card 3

This is the inside of the Paris birthday card (duh) for my aunt. I was so excited when I found these Paris embellishments.

Can you believe she was willing to leave her boyfriend for 18 months!
Fathers Day 1
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
We made this card for my dad for Father's Day. It's hard to see in the picture, but I actually made these 3-D, which added a lot to the look of the card.
Megan Album 6

I love brads! They add so much to the flowers, but also help frame the quote.
Megan Album 1
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
We made this photo album for a friend of ours who was leaving for 18 months to do an LDS service mission. This way she could have a nice way to show people she met pictures of her family.

We chose the color scheme of blue, green and brown. There are so many paper options out there, you can find so many different patterns, in the same color schemes. By sticking to the same colors throughout, it gives the gift continuity.
Megan Album 7

We chose to keep this simple because it is the last page. Notice how we rounded the corners of the photo to match the scalloped edges of the album?
Family Frame 1
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
My mom hired me to make this frame for some friends of hers. Check out some of the details in the next photos.

Megan Album 5

Her stinkin' cute nephew. We punched out two different flowers and then attached them with a brad. Notice how one flower is blue on green, and the other it green on blue? By changing the order, you give variety to your work.
Megan Album 4
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
The flowers were actually a stick. We wanted to give it a 3-D feel, so we stuck it on some cardstock and then cut around it. Then all we had to do was add some 3-D glue dots, to add some dimension.
Amanda Gift 2
clyde.nelson posted a photo:
So we made the card with the same wrapping paper that we wrapped the gift in. Pretty cute, huh?
Aunt Lisa Gift

My aunt LOVES Paris! And even though she has never taken me, I still love her. So when I found these really cute wine glasses with Eiffel Tower stems, I wanted to make the whole gift Paris themed. (Notice the "L" pearls for Lisa?)
